Future shock by Alvin Toffler is now

In decade of the 70 year's, Alvin Toffler wrote his famous book The Shock of future. This book is talking about the chances, the challenges and the trends of th society of new century. The most important challenge is the transformation of culture of humanity.

From my point of view the most important change in human beings has been thinking about the need for a digital identity to participate in the cibersociety. In the last class that I remembered this reading, but I'm analizing the changes that have already ocurred and driving forces. I thought the future is now.

The digital communication systems has been gradually replacing traditional management systems of society. For example: in a modern organization, the people can't send memos or notes in paper, they are to send the communication by email.  The workers are meeting by video conferences and the organization do not spend in gasoline for the car or bus or tickets of airplane. In a domestic topics, many people useed the computer to call from whatever program of instant messenger and the people feel that the geografic border and distance does not exist.

Toffler in his book not clearly explained about the driving forces of the chances. I think that protecting the environment has accelerated the implementation of new measures, it is necessary to slow the planet. I believe is the reason, I did not understand years ago when I read the book.
